The PLANET XRT-401E is able to use the most connection types, and meet the most demanding of Internet application requirements.
With easy integration and full compatibility of existing network infrastructures, the PLANET XRT-401E comprises a 4-Port Auto-Sensing, Auto-MDI/MDI-X 10/100Mbps switch, and a 10/100Base-TX WAN port providing Internet access for both Servers and LAN workstations.
Via the user-friendly management interface, the XRT-401E can be managed by workstations running standard web browsers. Furthermore, it provides DHCP server support, Virtual Server, DMZ support, PPTP/IPSec/L2TP pass through, and URL filtering capability. For overall network security, the XRT-401E integrates user-defined access control and policy-based controls plus SPI firewall protection, offering high efficiency and extensive protection for your network.

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol provides a dynamic IP address to PCs and
