WL-8316 provides 360 degrees coverage of wireless access by employing a build-in dipole antenna. Support of 64 and 128-bit WEP encryption plus WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) high-level encryption keeps your wireless network from unauthorized access and ensures secure data transfer.
Backward compatible with 802.11b products, allowing interoperability with any Wi-Fi certified wireless 802.11b/g products, so both 11b and 11g clients can reside on the same network. The WL-8316 can operate in either Ad-Hoc mode (Point to Point/Point to Multipoint without Access Point) or Infrastructure mode (Point to Point/Point to Multipoint with Access Point).
