The PLANET 's new Network Video Recorder - NVR-400 brings you a simple, efficient and cost-effective surveillance system. Users can just turn on cameras and the NVR-400 to protect their family and property easily. There is no need of using the PC to save the video files from IP cameras when applied the NVR-400 in your security surveillance system.

The NVR-400 supports 4-Channel IP camera input via networking. The recorded surveillance pictures are stored in AVI video file format, therefore users can use any media player medium such as Windows Media Player to play the recorded image files without any additional playback program.

Supporting two SATA HDD trays, the NVR-400 can work with RAID 0 to increase the HDD space or RAID 1 for real-time backup recorded data. Besides the NVR function, the NVR-400 provides simple NAS function for users to read / write data, provide FTP download service. The NVR-400 can also be the print server that enables you to share the connected printer to your network users.

The NVR-400 provides smart setup wizard program for users to easily setup this device step by step. It also supports web-base management interface for administrator to remotely manage the device via web browser without any concern.
